Kagura is a traditional form of song and dance performed as an offering to gods in Shinto. Hiroshima is known for its thriving Kagura tradition, particularly in the northern region called Geihoku. Geihoku Kagura is characterized by its splendid costumes, expressive Kagura masks, and dances accompanied by drums and flutes. Tanada refers to terraced rice fields that are created in sloping areas of mountainsides, among other places. Ini's Tanada has been selected as one of "Japan's 36 most beautiful places," alongside Itsukushima Shrine.
