The Atomic Bomb Dome is a building that was bombed by the first nuclear weapon ever used in human history during World War II. Located in the center of Hiroshima City, this building was registered as a World Heritage site in 1996 as a symbolic reminder of the importance of peace across generations.

Containing the names of the victims of the Atomic Bomb, this memorial monument is located in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Visitors can see the wish to never repeat the tragedies of the Atomic Bomb written on the monument. This park also features many other monuments symbolizing peace while providing a place of rest for many visitors.

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which opened in 1995, displays many artifacts of atomic bomb victims, as well as photographs and materials depicting the horrors of the bombing.It provides an overview of Hiroshima before and after the bombing, as well as the situation during the nuclear age. The museum, which was renovated and reopened in 2019, offers audio guides in various foreign languages (for a fee).

Hiroshima Castle is a castle built in the late 16th century by Mori Terumoto, who held significant power at the time. The current main keep was reconstructed in 1958 to resemble its original appearance. The interior now serves as historical museum, primarily showcasing samurai culture.
