Itsukushima Shrine & Tori-gate

Registered as a World Heritage site in 1996, Itsukushima Shrine is one of the few shrines in Japan with wooden structures in the sea. This beautiful and majestic shrine and its large torii gate symbolize Miyajima (Itsukushima), an island long revered as sacred and believed to be inhabited by gods.

Daisho Temple

Established by Kukai, who introduced Buddhism to Japan in 806 AD, this location is renowned as a 'power spot' where you can find various gods. Visitors can experience the practice known as 'Kaidan Meguri' and also have the opportunity to meet 500 charming Jizo statues.

Five Stories Pagoda & Houkoku Shrine

The pagoda is known for its beautiful and impressive architectural style. Houkoku Shrine remains unfinished due to the tragic demise of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

Misen Mountain has an elevation of 535 meters and is located in the heart of Miyajima. It has been a place of worship for a long time, but now it also attracts many domestic and international tourists who come to enjoy hiking. There are several routes to climb the mountain, including two ropeways. At the summit, the observation deck offers a breathtaking view, and along the way, there are the "Seven Wonders" formed by numerous cultural sites and natural features.
